El Presidenté, El Mejor, Cadillac ... We have searched for the perfect Margarita, but found it to be a hit or miss experience... great Tequila, ruined by an inferior mix.

In our travels, we have visited many great Mexican restaurants - but we have had inconsistent results when we order our favorite cocktail, frequently even for the same menu 'recipe' - sometimes even between rounds!

We have tried many versions;

  • the purist (just fresh lime juice) - but we found it lacked depth, and it was often too tart
  • the compromise (lime juice + simple syrup) - a frequently inconsistent bar mix, and
  • eerily unnatural green mixes (of unknown origin)

While we have enjoyed most (and many) Margaritas, it was the inconsistency that really bugged us. So we researched and developed our own recipe for our favorite cocktail through extensive experimentation and testing - someone had to do it.

We have entertained many friends and family, and the results are unanimous – our Margelitas are the best Margaritas. Have one and you will be spoiled forever. Now when we go out to Mexican restaurants, we always bring our own Margelita mix, and the bartenders and owners agree with us - we know how to make the best Margaritas.

Our process takes 24 hours to produce, but it's worth it. We only use fresh limes, lemons, and organic agave syrup to make the perfect Margarita mix - the Elite Margarita.

  • Consistent, balanced, and refreshing - not too sweet or sour
  • Nothing added - not even water - and all natural
  • Gluten and lactose free
  • Low glycemic index

Our recommended recipe is simple:

  • 1 part [your favorite] Tequila - go ahead and experiment!
  • 1 part Cointreau orange liqueur - not bar Triple Sec
  • 1 part Margelita mix

Personally, we prefer Añejo Tequilas for our Margelitas, but the most important ingredients are the Cointreau and our mix.

We're working on making our mix available to everyone - stay tuned!
